Last night a friend took us behind the scenes at TVNZ to watch live broadcasts of One News and Channel 7 News. As everyone was too busy partying they threw us in to anchor at the last minute. No one noticed – I mean who watches the 6-o’clock news on New Years Eve anyway right?
Not really…
Our friend’s sister works at TVNZ; we were just playing on the set after it went to air.
We finished up the night with a BBQ with friends, drank wine, margaritas and shots of some stuff that tasted like cough syrup (but wasn’t). We conversed, listened to music and then we wandered up the road to watch the Sky Tower’s 3 minute firework display at midnight. How was your New Years eve?
